We are a friendly and approachable company and we pride ourselves on the fact that we can always make the time to help those who need it.
Which vehicles can you MOT?
Class 1 and 2 motorcycles (including sidecar combinations), Class 3 three-wheeled vehicles, Class 4 cars, quads and light goods vehicles up to 3,000kg, and Class 7 goods vehicles up to 3,500kg GVW.
Can I wait while my vehicle is tested?
Yes. Our drive-through MOT testing station has waiting & viewing facilities and wheelchair access. Appointments are available Monday – Saturday.
Will servicing with you affect my manufacturer's warranty?
No. With changes in European legislation, it is possible to have your car serviced at an independent garage without invalidating your manufacturer's warranty. We carry out annual and interim services as per makers' specifications.
Are your parts and repairs guaranteed?
All parts are guaranteed for 1 year, and all repairs are guaranteed for 6 months (unless otherwise agreed).
Do you send MOT reminders?
By request, you may receive a reminder letter up to 4 weeks before your current MOT expires, at no additional cost. MOT & service reminders are available on request.
Can you test larger vehicles?
Yes. There is provision for large vehicles, camper vans etc., and HGV brake testing (up to 13 tonnes per axle) using the latest computerised equipment.
Do you deal in scooters and quads?
We are the TGB main dealer for the North East, supplying a comprehensive range of 50cc & 125cc scooters and a road-legal 250cc 4-stroke quad, each including a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
